Monday! A new week, another week of improving our masterpiece has started, and...... our room is still covered in glitter. Our group originally agreed on a purple octopus, but we ended up changing it to glittery gold. For the past few classes the glitter has been the main focus for a lot of us, but today was the last day of it. We've used around 5 bottles of glitter, over 1 can of primer, and at least 4 bottles of paint.
We finished the 2 coats on the rest of the tentacles, and we made a HUGE mess. Izzie and I got into a small glitter fight, which in turn created a big mess. There was glitter everywhere. All over the floors, the halls of the school, our hands, our hair, just everywhere. It took us over an hour to clean up just our room, and we didn't even get it all! None the less, all the glitter using was a lot of fun, and we all enjoyed it.
Because we have 3 more days only, our focus is going to be on placing the octopus and tentacles on the car, as well as filling in any gaps or last minute things we think need to happen. The physical car didn't have much progress today, however we did make a lot of progress in the bigger picture. People at the school are making comments, and they like how the car is coming together. This is for sure exiting our group, and we can't wait to get our glittery octopus, Patricia, onto our ocean car.
