"We started the morning with donuts..."

We started off the morning with donuts that Ms. Sloan so kindly brought us. Later we spent a good portion of time sticking streamers to the car. After that we went to Texas Art Supply and an auto shop to pick us some supplies. Soon after, we got back and experimented with the tentacles and wire, and finally came to a conclusion on how we want to make them. After that Caleb and North spent some time, shaping the body of the octopus. We also agreed that we wanted to paint the octopus gold and cover it in gold sparkles. We spent the rest of the evening gluing on more streamers to the car and cleaning the mess that was made while carving the foam. Overall, it was a fairly productive day and at this pace we will be finished very soon. --Rene
