Today we did some work touching up the pain on the car. The car is largely done, but there remains a little bit that we need to finish off. This included touching up spots where the paint didn’t quite get, and where some of the wrong color got on it. One major thing that got touched up was the soup can. I think it was polished up really nicely, and I’m very happy with how it turned out. On the back of the car, we added letters and numbers spelling out “15 minutes of fame,” a phrase that Warhol coined. This is also the reason for the number “15” on the side of our car. In addition to this, we added his signature to the side. At the bottom of the back, we’re adding coke bottles, which will probably be the last thing added to the car. We also cleaned off the windows. It’s a subtle touch, but I think the whole car now looks much nicer and cleaner as a result. --Kyle, class of 2019
