Welcome to the 2019 Art Car A-term Blog! Today we got right to work on the car and scraped all of the spray foam off of the car, that had been there for the past two years. This was pretty physically demanding and time consuming, but getting all of this foam off gives us a clean slate to create a new art car! After we got all of the foam off, we took the scrapers and scraped off the excess paint, hardened foam and silicone from previous years. That is the bulk of what we did today, but while this took a long time and a lot of physical work, now we can get to the fun part, which is designing the car and painting it! --Zoey, class of 2020
