Today was such a fun day as we were beginning the second to last parts of the car! Maria and I (Nuria) started the day by doing another coat of paint on our eyes, horns, and teeth. We went ahead and let that completely dry all morning while Tori, Sterling, Ian, and everyone else worked on gluing down more fur on the car. We glued down everything besides where our two faces and horns are going to be. We are almost done!
After that long morning of hard work, we took a very much-deserved and needed lunch break. Once we got back from lunch, we waited until the paint was dry on all sides and then began moving our materials outside to add our hard outer coating on it. We had to move outside since the sealant had a very strong smell. We began doing coats of that while waiting for it to dry and then re-apply in twenty-minute increments. While we were waiting, we watched some old Disney movies to look at the cartoon drawing style. We finished up our last coat before cleaning up for the day and setting up our eyes, teeth, horns, and ears to dry completely overnight. That was our day. see you tomorrow!--Nuria, class of 2026
