Art Car 2025: Day 10 (March 28)

Art Car 2025: Day 3 (March 19)

____________________________________________________________ We started our day cleaning the car (see Ian above) and then worked in the science lab (see Nuria below). We carved the teeth we needed for the two mouths of our car. It was a bit of a struggle for some to get the teeth the right size and shape, but we ended up with our seven beautifully carved denticles. Tori also finished the wings today (below), which will be put on the sides of the car. After lunch we got on top of the car (see Avery and Stirling above) and attached fur to most of the top of it. We then realized we had way too little fur to cover the entire car and planned to get more the next day. While we superglued the fur, Ian and Tori carved our horns, and at the end of the day we put the first layer of white paint on our teeth. (below) ---Stirling, class of 2027. Pics from Avery and Sp. Art Car 2025: Day 5 (March 21)

Not much to report today but we continued to work hard! We spent most of the day gluing fur onto the car and got a lot of it on. We also painted the horns, eyes, and teeth of the car. We are excited for next week because the middle school art term may join us for a day and help us out. -Avery, class of 2028
